Three men accused of kidnapping Italian volunteer Silvia Romano were recently charged in a Kenyan court. The suspects Abdulla Gababa Wario, Moses Luwali Chembe & Ibrahim Adhan Omar appeared before Malindi Chief Magistrate Julie Oseko on September 2, 2019.
According to the Prosecutor, Alice Mathangani, on November 20, 2018, the 3 men, together with others not in court, kidnapped Silvia Romano, the manager of African Milele Onlus, at her rental home in Chakama, Kilifi County, on the Kenyan coast.
The men are also charged with terrorism offences.

Silvia Romano’s whereabouts are unknown and the case is ongoing at Malindi court.
